Event description: Health care professionals have a moral and ethical responsibility to actively challenge inequities in Indigenous health. Cindy Blackstock, a recognized advocate in child welfare and Indigenous children’s rights, will discuss examples of advocacy, allyship and collaboration to enact systemic change.

Cindy Blackstock, PhD, is Executive Director of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada and Professor, McGill University School of Social Work.
